All inside us is<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">pang and rumble, yearn and ache, we<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">long for something touching our tongues.<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">Someone is scrambling an egg, boiling<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">water for coffee, Popping a Tart,<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">heating the things that taste better hot.<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">A woman in a hairnet waits on tables.<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">A line cook examines the melting butter.<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">A hostess says <\/span>Please. Let me seat you now.<\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">Say it plain: that many have slaved over this meal.<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">Sing the names of those who brought it here,<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">who plowed the fields, planted the crops,<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">picked the onions and the wheat, kneaded<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">batch by batch the glorious dough<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">they would then roll into perfect little rings.<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">Praise song for the bakers, praise song for the meal.<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">Praise song for every boiled little bite,<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">the chewing-it-up at kitchen tables.<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">Some live by <\/span>you are what you eat<span style=\"font-style: normal;\">,<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">others by <\/span>an apple a day keeps\u00a0the doctor away<span style=\"font-style: normal;\">.<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">But what if the mightiest food is bagels?<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">Praise song for getting something in our stomachs.<\/span><\/address>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each morning we go and do our business, we flush and we jump in the\u00a0shower or not, drying and then dressing.
